This 1932 Packard convertible is some classy beast! It came with all the bells and whistles. I do believe the list price for that car in 1932 was just shy of $5000.00. A fellow car builder Gille from NI Car Automotive here in Winnipeg had the huge task of stripping the ugly laquer paint and a complete gut of the car. We were comissioned to do the two tone burgandy base coat/clear coat paint job on it. Gille told me I was the only one willing to paint the car. Maybe I was crazy, but for 2weeks at night, after I shut down the shop for the day I was busting away painting piece after piece. Yes we did it in pieces...two tone remember, but that's a testament to Gille for making sure everything fit before we starting appling paint. Pictures are now posted.
